Hello Friend,

Happy September!
I can hardly believe it’s here. Kids are back in school, the mornings are finally getting a little cooler, and fall is just around the corner.
As the seasons change, I find myself thinking more intentionally about wellness.
Of course, there are the basics: getting enough rest, eating well, staying hydrated, washing my hands, moving my body, and finding ways to manage stress.
But lately I’ve been thinking about something else:
What am I feeding my mind and spirit?
I pay attention to what I put on my plate—plenty of fruits and vegetables, quality protein, healthy carbohydrates, and real, nourishing food.
But am I just as thoughtful about what I’m consuming mentally?
Am I snacking all day on stressful social media, upsetting news, and angry conversations?
Or am I making room for uplifting people, meaningful books, gratitude, quiet, prayer, time outside, and things that leave me feeling restored rather than depleted?
For me, that starts first thing in the morning.
I try to begin my day not with my phone, but with a devotional, the Bible or another meaningful book, a little journaling, and a cup of tea or coffee—often with a bowl of fruit and yogurt nearby.
Then I head outside for a brisk walk, some morning sunshine, and fresh air.
And, naturally, scent is often part of the ritual. I might diffuse Breathe Easy for a fresh, clearing aroma or Joyful when I want something bright and uplifting.
Nothing complicated. Just a few small choices made intentionally.
Because even when the day ahead is packed, taking a few minutes to nourish your body, mind, and spirit can change the way you step into it.
As we head into a new season, perhaps it’s worth asking:
What am I feeding myself today—body, mind, and spirit?
What are some of the little things you do to support your mental and spiritual well-being? I’d genuinely love to hear.
Aromatic Blessings,
Tricia
