Nurturing What You’re Meant to Grow

Have you ever planted something with the best of intentions… only to watch it struggle?
I have.
Over the years, I’ve tried my hand at growing everything from tomatoes to squash and beans. Most didn’t make it very far. Some were eaten by squirrels, others scorched in the sun, and a few simply didn’t survive my inconsistent watering schedule.
It’s humbling, to say the least.
But it’s also taught me something I come back to again and again:
Growth doesn’t happen just because something has potential. It happens when that potential is supported.
A seed already holds everything it needs to become something extraordinary. But without the right conditions—soil, water, light, care—it simply… stays a seed.
And our dreams are no different.
We all carry ideas that excite us. A business we want to start. A product we want to create. A path we feel called to explore. But wanting something and nurturing it are two very different things.
It’s easy to say, “I’d love to do that someday.”It’s a little harder to ask:
Am I creating space for this in my life?
Am I learning what it actually needs to grow?
Am I staying consistent, even in small ways?
Because growth rarely happens all at once. It happens in quiet, steady moments.
In tending.
In showing up.
In adjusting when something isn’t working.
In my own work—whether I’m formulating products, developing aromatherapy blends, or supporting other business owners—I see this pattern often. The most successful outcomes aren’t rushed. They’re cultivated.
There’s intention behind them. Care. Patience. Even trial and error.
And just like in a garden, not everything thrives under the same conditions. What works beautifully for one idea might not work for another. Learning to listen, adapt, and refine is part of the process.
So if there’s something you’ve been wanting to create—something that feels meaningful to you—consider this your gentle reminder:
It may not need more dreaming. It may just need more nurturing.
A little more time.A little more attention.A little more belief in what’s possible.
What you’re meant to grow is already within you.
The question is… how will you tend to it?
If you ever feel called to explore what that could look like—whether it’s creating a custom skin or hair care product, refining an idea, cultivating a class or workshop experience, or simply getting started exploring aromatherapy —I’m here for that conversation. Book a discovery call or send an email.
Keep walking in the beauty of your dreams.
Aromatic blessings,
Tricia
